Chief of Staff Office

Program Associate

The Foundation is seeking a program associate, a professional staff member who will work with program officers and other staff to support the Foundation’s grantmaking by: helping to facilitate dialogue to guide program-related decision-making; conducting program-related research; working with key experts, grantees and applicants to develop strategies and action plans; and helping to design and implement new initiatives, evaluate proposals, and monitor programs and grants in the Foundation’s grantmaking interest areas.

Human Resources

Human Resources Officer

The Foundation is seeking a human resources (HR) officer,  a hands-on professional role that works within the HR team to deliver and support the analysis, development, implementation, administration and monitoring of human resources policies, programs and operations primarily in the key functional area of benefits design, compliance and administration. Providing pro-active planning and day-to-day solutions, expert counsel, and accurate and timely HR information and service to Foundation staff and related clients, the human resources officer will work to establish employee benefits plans that are regarded as best practices and highly valued by employees. Additionally, the human resources officer will participate in broader generalist activities to include recruitment/selection, compensation, general employee relations, and employee development and training.

Director, Strategic Relationships

RWJF has created the new position of director, Strategic Relationships, to help lead our efforts to ally with communities, policymakers, businesses and others willing to find ways to build a Culture of Health for everyone in America. The director, Strategic Relationships, will play a key role in developing and executing an organization-wide strategy for engaging influential partners from diverse perspectives—businesses, community organizations, other non-profits, civic leaders, researchers, educators, and many others, both within and outside the health sector.

Senior Policy Officer

The Foundation is seeking a highly collaborative senior policy professional to provide strategic expertise in synthesizing and advancing federal, state, and local policy coordination and advocacy across the Foundation’s portfolios and teams. Serving as a key adviser to senior management, the successful candidate will be a strong relationship builder, willing to readily translate and share information at all levels.

Senior Program Officer

The Foundation is seeking a senior program officer to provide strategic expertise on how to build a network of partners that support and implement federal, state and local policy efforts to support all children growing up at a healthy weight. The successful candidate will understand how to address health equity broadly and develop programming to establish scalable models at the local, state, and national levels. We prefer someone with experience doing work in child health but would welcome experience in any human service areas (i.e. education, welfare, labor).

Senior Program Officer

The Foundation is seeking a seasoned and visionary public health leader to develop, implement, and manage initiatives that carry forward its vision to work alongside diverse groups of people in order to build a Culture of Health. S/he will work across the Foundation and field to promote ideas and investments and develop and expand partnerships that have the greatest impact on the field of public health and health and care systems across the United States.
